I have a confession to make.  I am the owner of not one, but three Muumuu’s.

Today’s frock is the first Muumuu that I ever owned.  I bought it for a hawaiian themed party we threw many moons ago.  It was so perfect!

Dress:  Vintage polyester Muumuu, picked up from a vintage store in Newtown many years ago.  The print is of palm trees, rocky islands, and tiny windsurfers.  Hawaii is written on the sails of the boats.  Yes folks, that’s how cool this is.  I have no intention of ever parting ways with it.

I’m frocking my kitsch vintage polyester Muumuu for day 25 of my Frockober challenge.  It’s a muumuu!  It’s brown!  It’s probably the most polyester ever to be worn on one person!

I picked up this amazing muumuu a few years ago from a vintage store in Newtown.

We had a Hawaiian themed party and this is what I wore.  It’s one of those items that i’ll have to keep forever, just in case anyone invites me to a hawaiian themed party!

I headed to the Domain to meet Joh for lunch today.  It’s a beautiful sunny Frocktober day here in Sydney, not that you’d know it in our cold sunless house!

Today’s dress doesn’t get much wear, but it is fun when I do wear it.  I decided that the tights were necessary just in case the wind turned on me.  Luckily my modesty was protected for another day :)PA190006

I need to give this dress a bit of TLC, the straps need re-sewing, and a little red waist sash would help the look I think.

Hannah and I went out for cake yesterday. Yummo. The cakes are all made on premises, and are absolutely lovely. I had sticky date pudding and Hannah had apple cake. Highly recommended.
