I love Meet me at Mikes too!! It’s so great to see an Australian craft book that really hits the mark. There are some lovely projects in there.
I have a huge addiction to the Bourke St Bakery Chocolate Tarts – i’m thinking these will have to be one of the first things I make out of the book. I have a feeling our house will be propping up the butter industry considerably in the coming months…

PS – Kinokuniya has a 20% off sale today and tomorrow! Go, now!!

You’ll have to review Meet me at Mike’s so I know if I should get it. I’ve been mulling it over for ages.

Hope you are well and enjoyed catching up with your Mum and Dad.

Love, Sxxx

Woohoo, glad you liked it :) Nice choice of books, glad I didn’t go out and buy you random ones :P

The Bourke St Bakery cookbook is lovely. I made the carrot cake yesterday and it was wonderful! You make a meringue mixture and stir it through, makes the cake so light and airy. I have prunes soaking in marsala, which i’ll use to make the chocolate brownie over the weekend. Yum!
